(San Luis Obispo, CA.) SLO Talk Radio announces the launch of a new internet-based radio station and podcast production studio that features live weekly programming celebrating the culture, commerce, and community of the California Central Coast. Local business leaders, entrepreneurs, industry experts, and community organizations can host their own weekly radio shows and podcasts covering a broad range of topics including food and wine, the arts, business and finance, health and wellness, psychology, sex, politics and more. In addition to podcasts and live radio broadcasts, the station offers its radio hosts the option of live video streaming from the studio. Both the live audio and video streams are broadcasted on www.SLOTalkRadio.com. All live radio and video streams are recorded and archived on the SLO Talk Radio website and distributed globally to podcast directories like iTunes, Google Play and Stitcher providing 24/7 on-demand access.

Leading the lineup is “Renaissance Rap — The New Land of the Giants”, created and hosted by Gary Conway, local natural winemaker, world renown television and film actor, artist and writer. Gary is perhaps best known for his starring role in the iconic network television series, “Land of the Giants”. The radio program draws its topics, inspiration, strength, and sense of purpose from community – artists, writers, musicians, winemakers, farmers, chefs, and cowboys – the individuals, merchants and small businesses that represent the foundation upon which societies are built around the world. Renaissance Rap features select in-studio guests, live call-ins from around the world, and even boasts occasional appearances by Hollywood celebrities.

James Davis, an engaged local community leader who actively supports and promotes nonprofits, businesses, community causes and events, will host “SLO Good Life”, which shines the spotlight on the unique individuals, stories, lifestyles, activities and events abundant in the SLO County region. Also in development is “Vintner’s Vision”, an interview-format show hosted by Jennifer Golden, a longtime advocate of the Support Local Movement. The program centers on the history of winemaking in the region, with the area’s founding winemakers sharing their memories and stories of San Luis Obispo County’s evolution as one of the most revered and world-class regions for wine production.
